This series of precision lockwashers, designed for use with the PT series of precision miniature locknuts, encompasses all the advantages of the WT series of small lockwashers, especially smaller size and lighter weight. The important advantage of these lockwashers is their precision. To gain this advantage, the faces of these precision lockwashers are parallel. This improves tremendously the capacity of locknut and lockwasher to hold squarely and fast the inner race of a bearing or other power transmission components, thereby improving surface cohesion to reduce vibration and resulting misalignment, the eliminiation of which increases life of the assembly. No better lockwasher is made for the usual requirements of aircraft, computer, electronic, missile, and spindle manufacturers. This version of the lockwasher is supplied keybent.
