This lightweight and smaller dimensional series of locknuts is an AFBMA standard for nuts with bores ranging from 4 5/16 inches to over 37 inches. The sizes designated 022 through 088 which are shown here make a good continuation of the NT series where the application of a designer or engineer could better use a lighter weight locknut with a smaller outside diameter and less thickness.
