CNS Clampnut

CNB.GIF

This series of CLAMP NUTS has sixteen threads per inch in accordance with the Unified Constant Pitch system of thread formulations. These sixteen threads are preferably designed in large diameters requiring fine pitch threads for greater tensile strength. They are very applicable in adjusting collars and retaining nuts for bearing and power transmission assemblies where greater holding power and greater precision are desired together with more common fractional delineation of the components, especially where tapered roller bearings are used.

This model is made of low carbon steel with a black oxide finish and blackened alloy steel socket head cap screws.

As with all precision retaining devices, care must be taken during assembly to assure premium performance. Please open and review our installation instructions for proper technique and best results.
